What you can delete
You can delete your whole IndCals account. When you do, your account and everything stored in it are removed, not hidden, and the account cannot be restored afterwards.
You can also remove individual records without deleting your account, for example a meal, a weight entry, a blood report or marker, a medication or supplement, or a custom food. Those delete controls sit on the screen where the record appears, and you can purge your AI response history from Settings, under About the assistant & your health data.
Delete your account in the app
- Open IndCals and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm. The Delete my account button unlocks once the word matches.
- Tap Delete my account. The app deletes the account and returns you to the sign-in screen.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you change your mind, go back before you confirm and your account stays exactly as it is.
What gets deleted
Confirming deletion removes every record that belongs to your account, including:
- Your profile and body details
- Your meals, weight history and daily health metrics
- Your blood reports and markers, medications, supplements and conditions
- Your food library, including custom foods, recipes and saved meals
- Your calorie and macro targets and their history
- Your notification settings and inbox
- Your consent records and AI response history
- Your subscription record held by IndCals
- Your sign-in account itself
We also ask the providers behind phone sign-in to remove the identities linked to your number, so the same phone number does not silently recreate the account the next time you sign in.
Deleting your account does not by itself cancel an active subscription or stop future charges. Cancel the subscription first through the App Store, Google Play or the payment method you used; the Support page explains how.
Delete your account if you cannot sign in
If you cannot sign in, you can still ask us to delete your account. Email us at help@indcals.com with the phone number on the account and a short note asking for the account to be deleted. If you have it, include the name or email you used in the app so we can find the account quickly.
For your protection, we may ask you to confirm a one-time code sent to the account's phone number, or to answer a question or two, so we can be satisfied the request is genuine. We only delete an account once we have confirmed the request came from you.
You can write to help@indcals.com or call +91 7996033357. Data-protection requests can also go to our Grievance Officer, whose details are in the Privacy Policy and DPDP Notice.
What we keep
When you delete your account we erase your personal data, including your profile, meals, weight history, health data and consent records. A limited amount may be kept where the law requires it, or where it is needed for a specific purpose, for example:
- Billing and tax records that we, our payment providers or the app stores must keep for accounting and legal reasons.
- Records we need to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Crash and error diagnostics, which are not linked to your account and are kept only to keep the app working.
- Encrypted backups, which can hold a copy of your data for a short time after deletion. Those copies are not used for anything, and they are overwritten or aged out as the normal backup cycle runs.
We do not keep your data for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it. The Privacy Policy and DPDP Notice sets out the full detail.
How long it takes
In the app, deletion is immediate. Once you confirm, your account and its data are removed from the live system and you are returned to the sign-in screen.
If you ask us by email or phone, we delete the account and its data as soon as we have confirmed the request. We complete verified requests within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
